WRAS was developed as an online tool to allow viewing, analysis, and entry of Reef Check survey data via the Internet. The Reef Check database currently contains data from 3649 Reef Check surveys at 1993 sites in 80 (sub)countries around the world.

What is Reef Check WRAS?

WRAS is an online application to input, view, and analyse Reef Check survey data. It calculates indicators of how good or bad a shape a particular reef is in, and what the underlying causes may be, based on Reef Check surveys.

WRAS was developed in collaboration with WorldFish Center (ReefBase Project), University of Rhode Island, and the University of Southern California. We welcome any feedback on improvements or modifications of this first version of WRAS.
